FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does Immuno-Care® help to alleviate symptoms of seasonal allergies?
Celt Naturals Immuno-Care®helps to modulate immune function through T cells, reduce inflammatory markers (such as IL-6), and support the cellular function from oxidative stress and damage. Immuno-Care®reduces allergies by dampening down basophil, eosinophils and mast cells. These are the cells that release histamine, causing the typical “allergic reactions”, such as runny nose, itchy eyes, and in some people, achy joints and flu-like symptoms.
A study conducted in the United States demonstrated that Celt Naturals Immuno-Care® provides
powerful antioxidant protection at the cellular level. This is important as people with different immune-related issues tend to have oxidative stress, which should be repaired in order to maintain healthy cells.
Are there any cautions I should be aware of?
Celt Naturals Immuno-Care®should not be taken by organ or tissue transplant recipients, including bone marrow and corneal transplant recipients, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Always consult a healthcare professional if you are taking other drugs or herbal supplements, including blood-thinning medications. Keep Immuno-Care® out of the reach of children.
Why shouldn't Immuno-Care® be taken with milk?
Milk and other dairy products can block the absorption of plant sterols, which are very similar to cholesterol in structure, and compete for cellular receptors. Taking Celt Naturals Immuno-Care®first thing in the morning, and then waiting 30 minutes before eating, will help make the plant sterols more active.
What is the benefit of “Delayed Release”?
When evaluating supplements, absorption is a crucial aspect to consider. Delayed release works by presenting a surface that remains stable in the highly acidic pH level of the stomach, and breaks down rapidly at a less acidic (relatively more basic) pH level. For example, capsules will not dissolve in the acidic juices of the stomach (pH ~3), but will dissolve in the alkaline (pH 7-9) environment of the small intestine. Some experts believe that the bioavailability of non-enteric- coated supplements (i.e. all the contents) is only 10-15% due to damage from gastric juices and enzymes in the stomach.
While delayed release is a common technology employed in the manufacturing of costly pharmaceutical medications, it is used less often in the nutritional supplement industry.

In fact, stability and potency tests were conducted five years past expiry, and Immuno-Care®was not only deemed safe, it maintained 100% full potency.
Does Immuno-Care® have a Natural Product Number (NPN)?
